Coming from Kaş?
Most people searching for this sail from Kaş, and the price is only half the story — that crossing spends five hours of the day getting there and back. From our harbour at Çayağzı the same bays are twenty minutes out. Drive the 48 km instead and the day is yours.
Two harbours. Two very different days.
Kekova is reached from two harbours, and both visit the same bays. The difference is distance — and distance is time spent travelling instead of swimming.
Staying in Kaş? Çayağzı is 48 km away by road, about 45 minutes. Leave at 09:45 and you are aboard at 10:30 — in the water twenty minutes later.
Sea distances measured from each harbour, timed at the speed a loaded day boat holds door to door.
Questions people ask about the price
Is the price per person or for the whole boat?
Private charters are priced for the whole boat — the same figure whether you are two or six. Above guests each extra person adds . Only the shared day tour is charged per person.
Do you take payment or a deposit on this website?
Nothing on this site takes money — we ask for no card details and collect nothing online. The form sends us a request and we confirm it by hand. How you pay is something we settle together when we confirm: on the shared day tour you pay on board, on the day. For a private charter we may ask for a deposit, since the day is then held in your name — if we do, it is stated plainly in the confirmation. If sending money from your country is difficult, that is no obstacle: you can pay in cash on the day.
Is there a discount for children?
On the shared day tour children up to age 7 pay half price and infants travel free. A private charter is priced for the boat, so children simply count towards the -guest limit.
Are fuel, lunch and drinks included?
Yes — fuel, the crew, lunch cooked on board, tea and Turkish coffee all day, snorkelling gear and towels. On a private charter you may bring your own drinks with no corkage. The only thing you pay separately is museum entry.
Can we do a shorter tour? Is it cheaper?
The hours are open to discussion. On a private charter the boat is yours for the day, so we can shift the departure and the return to suit your plans — 10:00–17:00 is the usual shape, not a rule. The price does not change. A private charter is priced per boat, not per hour: the day is held in your name and we take nobody else. Whether you are out for four hours or seven, the boat does not sail for anyone else that day. If it is a shorter and cheaper trip you are after, the sunset tour is exactly that: four hours, late afternoon, the whole boat to yourselves.
Why is this cheaper than the agency quoted me?
Because there is no agency. You are talking to the people who run the boat. An agency has to add its own margin to whatever the boat charges, and that margin is what you are not paying here.
